What a fantastic day we had at St George’s Hill Golf Club this week — one of Surrey’s most elegant and historic golfing venues. Eight of our R&H Golf Group members joined us for a morning of expert coaching, connection, and inspiration.

The session was led by PGA Professionals James Bishop and Adam Morganti, both long-standing coaches at the club. Over the course of two hours, they guided our members through tailored coaching experiences designed to meet each participant at their level

Our experienced golfers began with an insightful refresher, revisiting the fundamentals of grip and posture — a timely reminder before heading out to the course to put their skills into practice.

 

Meanwhile, our beginner golfers enjoyed a friendly and engaging introduction to the game, concluding with a one-hole Texas Scramble that gave everyone a taste of playing as part of a team.

 

Following the coaching sessions, we gathered for a networking lunch in the stunning clubhouse. Surrounded by the club’s beautiful setting and great conversation, it was the perfect opportunity for members to relax, connect, and share ideas beyond the course.

 

Everyone left the day feeling invigorated and inspired — refreshed from time spent outdoors, away from screens, and surrounded by a supportive community of like-minded women. Many also came away with new contacts and mentors to continue building meaningful business and personal relationships.

 

For me personally, the day was a reminder of just how powerful golf can be when combined with shared purpose and community. I’ve come away inspired to design a new short programme for our more experienced golfers, launching in Q1 2026. This initiative will help our players maintain momentum through the off-season so that by May, they’re fully skilled, confident, and ready to maximise the benefits that golf brings to business and wellbeing.
